Description:

The George C. White building houses the Animal Science Department’s main office, faculty offices, classrooms, student library with computer lab, creamery and laboratories. The building is open to the public weekdays from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. The UConn Department of Animal Science Creamery is located in the George White Building.  All of the ice cream sold in the UConn Dairy Bar is produced in the Creamery using fresh milk produced at the Kellogg Dairy Center.  The Creamery is used for dairy food research, cheese making, outreach, and teaching activities.  Creamery operations can be viewed from the public observation area in the Dairy Bar during its normal hours of operation.
